HVPC organizes and coordinates special events in Halton during Sexual Assault Awareness Month in May and Woman Abuse Prevention Month in November. These events are dedicated to raising awareness and eradicating violence against women.

On November 2 2017, members of HVPC and community came together to commemorate Woman Abuse Awareness month. The theme of the event was focused on men’s role in preventing violence against women.
