An empowerment and advocacy group for survivors of violence who wish to contribute to their community, raise awareness, and eradicate all forms of violence.
Survivors Voices is a platform for the entire community to learn about sexual assault and to support survivors by providing a safe place for anonymous feedback to the Halton agencies of their choice. This website is an initiative of the Sexual Assault Advisory Committee (SAAC) to improve the experiences of survivors of sexual assault entering the justice system.
A snapshot infographic for the Region of Halton that presents data and trends related to gender-based violence in our community is compiled annually. This annual snapshot with statistics that highlight the reality of VAW in Halton can help us identify more trends and gaps and compare the stats year to year. This snapshot is developed with a broad approach to look at the intersectionalities and the structural components of violence.

HVPC consists of on-going and ad-hoc sub-committees focused on a variety of projects, awareness campaigns, research projects, or training initiatives.
